VILLA OSLO

Type of house: Limited edition. 12 copies. 2 levels + partial basement

Net square meter: 212

Villa Oslo is a futuristic villa with large panoramic windows while having the ROSS rounded walls. The two upper floors are with plastered white walls with stone-clad pedestal resting on the basement. The villa has a slight slope on the roof, the upper floor is drawn from the entrance floor and leaves room for two roof terraces.

The villa’s most spectacular side is against the view of the sea, where a large glass section hangs out over the cliff, here a stone-clad robust chimney goes partly outside the facade through all the floors of the villa as to keep the villa on the rock. Here we also find a waterfall created by the pool’s overflow. The pool is situated on the terrace in the ground floor next to a courtyard which is protected from wind and has visibility on three sides of the villa’s walls. Towards the courtyard there are large sliding glass walls, which blur the boundaries between inside and outside. The villa’s entrance is stylish and welcomed.

Through the sliding glass walls and the inner courtyard you can see the living room and the view on the sea. The living room is large and bright with windows in three directions. Only a couple of steps and a rustic fireplace separate the living room from the kitchen to the dining room. The large kitchen with a round windowed wall faces the view, invites the whole family to help with cooking around the kitchen island and entertain the guests at the dining table.

The entrance floor also houses two children’s bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room and a gym which also doubles as a guest room. A beautifully sculpted site-cast staircase leads up to the upper floor, which is the parents’ floor. Here you find the master bedroom with exit to the larger roof terrace with jacuzzi, a spacious dressing room with sink for the clothes room and a bathroom with both shower and free-standing bath. Upstairs there is also the work room with exit to the smaller roof terrace and views of guests coming at the entrance.

The villa has a small basement for a technology room and storage. Here is also groves a tree into the house directly from the carport which is weather-protected by the villa’s overhanging body.
